這兩個禮拜以來因緣際會的參加了清大的nthu college of EECS internationnal elite students summer camp
的presentation 課程,學到如何組織架構文章,引起聽眾的興趣,dilivery的技巧,幾乎每一堂課都會上台去練習,克服緊張恐懼,在遊戲及分組討論學習再用出來,記得第一堂是自我介紹並找一個自我獨有的特殊事情,練習說故事增加自己的表現能力,最後完成一個有內容組織架構文章的presentation,看到大家將最後的成果展現出來,覺得收穫蠻多的,我的題目是My laboratory.
My laboratory
Hello! Everybody! I am Crystal. I am a master student of second year in institute of photonics. Here is a question: Why don't skeletons like to ride on roller coasters? The answer is because they don't have the guts! Get it? Because you finished undergraduate school and will enter graduate school in the field of electronics engineering. You have to choice one lab joining in. So I want to introduce my lab by talking some things about my lab’s name, our professor, members, research, activities in our lab.
1. Our Professor is Horng, Sheng-fu. He is a professor of institute of electronics engineering. There are 4 Ph.D students and 29 master students. Why there are so many members in my laboratory? That is because our professor is very popular. When we have any problem in research, he will discuss with us and give a big hand. He is very kind and a good director.
2. My lab named AOSO which is short for Advanced Organic Semiconductor Optoelectronics. So we do research in process to improve semiconductor optoelectronics device’s efficiency. The field of technology is state of the art
3.Research: There are five groups in our laboratory which are LED、
、Photo-Physics、FET、Simulation、Solar cell. The research what I do
is simulation. I use a software named “atlas” to model the optoelectronics device’s structure. And we can get the electric and optic parameters of the devices. Because most of lab members need to do experiments, there are many instruments and measurement equipments in our lab. It is very interesting finding ways to improve optoelectronics device’s efficiency.
We report papers and discuss research progress in meeting. We can learn a lot from our lab.
4. Except for research, we still hold a lot of activities in our lab. For example, we will sports like playing basketball and baseball every week. Go outing like mountain climbing or karaoke singing for fun. The activities help build up good relation between our lab members.
I think good professor is really matters to guide us in research. The field of our lab research is very interesting and on the cutting edge. There are many things we can learn from our lab. And the relationship between our lab members is very good. I think my lab is the best choice. If you are interested in. Don’t like the skeletons. Take your courage to join in.
